🎧 Porcupine Tree, "The Incident". One of PT's hardest rocking and more complex albums. If I knew at the time it was going to be their last record for 13 years I would have paid closer attention! Steven WIlson's exo-PT work was so uneven it's nice to remember how perfectly executed and well-written most PT albums were. It's neo-prog, it's hard rock, it's alt-rock. Whatever you want to call it, it's undeniably Porcupine Tree. The last great prog band.

@MPCavalier I have enjoyed Wilson's "The Raven..." album. It is both rock and prog, with wonderful arrangements and stunning performances by the entire band. Listen to the instrumental versions of the title track (or any of the songs) to focus on the arrangements.
