Current listen: Beaver and Krause, "Gardharva". These two were basically the go-to guys for MOOG synths in the early days of that technology. They would come in and set it up and teach people how to use them. They were also pioneers of electronic music. They made two albums of very listenable funk/pop/rock music layered with moog/synth.
