How do people reconcile the idea of a strong man with an elderly, incoherent, full of hatred and revenge rhetoric man, his senile aspirations to become a dictator who hates the country and entire cities/states and citizens bc they're Democratic, all the felonies, fraud, scandals, corruption, ineptitude, even his now well documented diaper malfunctions, a shadow of an already faulty man with no other policies , and say "yeah, only he can save us!", just how?

Many don't. They're waiting for Vance to take over; T is the battering ram that will get them into office, V will replace him thereafter, and the backend team responsible for Project 2025 and similar will do the rest.
He's a means to an end for a highly motivated, cynical, billionaire-backed, and angry minority with outsize power at the polls. Just an awful state of affairs for us all. No matter what happens in under a month, the consequences of this will be felt for years.
@MLClark Yeah, that's what I was thinking 😢, he's a useful idiot for all the other MAGA GOP power hungry vultures to put in place their Project 2025. There are lots of people, probably ignorant and radicalized who think of him as some sort of messiah though and call Harris "demonic". Too many of them. I wasn't this scared in 2016 or 2020.
