@MLClark I still think my hypothesis is valid that we (humans) are evolving from Homo Sapiens to a higher form. The "deranged" portion of the population will go the way of the Denisovans and Neanderthals.
Neanderthals had more gender equality, demonstrated in the far-ranging materials in female teeth and diets and the wear on bones indicative of shared labours. It's considered to be one of the reasons our ancestral strain triumphed: more role specialization, with all the cultural issues that came with it.
I wouldn't be so quick to suggest that the "better" strain of early hominin won out.
But I know you're having a rough go, too, so take care of your heart, eh?

Ha ha! I concur, about the other hominid. CHtS. : )
The neanderthals were around for tens of thousands of years without killing one another and everything else off.
They were already getting to similar tool use that later hominids claimed to be masters of (I'd argue the latter piggybacked off neanderthal and other hominid's technology).
Modern humans are dumber, meaner, weaker, and make mistakes faster.
@MLClark Yeah, just trying to be hopeful for us this time around.😊
