Our very own @stephen_a_allen is a finalist in Rattle's annual #Poem competition!
There will be a Reader's Choice vote among subscribers in February, and I hope everyone who follows Rattle considers participating in that review of all the finalists, to pick the piece they love best for a second financial prize.

@MLClark Thank you for the shout out! When Tim and Katie announced the finalists on the Rattlecast, they said that mine was a) the only formal poem in the bunch (it's a sonnet), and b) they had enjoyed reading it out loud in their decision-making conferences. I'm feeling very flattered by that. In any case, when the publish it online, as they do I'll link it here.
