The goal is to save money – “millions and millions of dollars” according to Lionsgate studio vice chairman Michael Burns – by having filmmakers and creators use its AI model to replace artists in production tasks such as storyboarding."

This sci-fi story from 1948 is a pretty entertaining cautionary tale about an artificial brain which we allowed to become so intertwined with all our vital institutions that even once we realized it was malicious, we could not remove it because of our total dependence.
