Definitely don't miss it. We have *such* a powerful brain trust here, of folks watching many different corners of the world, and sharing what they see from the subject positions they hold. *That's* how we keep democracy alive.
I've been following that one more closely, around my recent deep-dive into South Africa's history with truth & reconciliation processes and the party politics that emerged from them. As you note, there are still some rumours on the ground with respect to electoral irregularities, so I'm still gathering intel before posting more comprehensively on that can of worms.
And like you said, this is one heck of a year for democracy watchers! All hands on deck, etc. Thanks again for your eyes.
@MLClark yeah the information gathering is tough especially with big populations...wise to take your time
One thing I've found interesting is so many countries have changed laws in build up to elections this time.
Mostly all were done within a year or so. Which can be used by current parties in governments.

ANC has lost majority - South Africa enters new era of coalition politic while claims of vote-counting inconsistencies are being investigated apparently - not really looked into that to much myself
