It rained all through the night and it's still raining now, so no running, no park time, and no horses - but also, I didn't quite finish my work last night, so one more day of catch-up before I can rejoin the world.
The most important project on my roster is still on track, though. Everything else just got squished around it, but I can still finish May strong, and hopefully have that Grist story sent out this weekend, too. 🤞🏻

None taken! This was SO much fun to read and work on. I wasn't sure when you first said you had a piece ready that it would be the same I'd seen in an earlier form, but I'm glad that it was this book; there's a real joy in seeing a work grow from one version to the next.
I had such excellent (and varied) beta reader feedback, @MLClark. I almost feel guilty for asking people to read that hot mess, but it's part of the process, and I'm grateful to them. You and @SandHillThicket included! 😀
