They weren't jovial when I found them on their back, windmilling frantically on the ground! 😅 But yes, now they just need a fancy hat and they'd be all set to par-tay!

You're looking at a scarab (or dung) beetle, probably female and of the New World tribe Aegidiini from the subfamily Orphninae.
(But the taxonomy of many beetle species has been under massive flux in recent years, so sticking to common names is best!)
