Giving over to the politics of fatalism. Allowing oneself to believe that everything getting worse is inevitable.
We can't change world events - but we can better fortify ourselves for local action.

No question. We do have to control the amount of trauma to which we are exposed.
I can tell by the level of agitation I reach when enough is enough. And I canceled cable 12+ yrs ago.
Some days staying off #Coso is necessary. Especially when the cruelty is ramped up to the extreme. Hate only fosters more hate. Regardless of to whom it is directed.
