Going to start a planned February regimen a day early. The nervous energy from our deeply troubled world is difficult to manage. It's not just the awfulness in the news; it's the relentless reminders of immaturity in the face of it all, from so many.
I thought it was bad enough dealing with a tankie in the family post-Ukraine invasion, but whew. The number of people *so eager* to leap further into destruction is tough. I get that walking the knife's edge is, too--but it's better than giving in.
@MLClark Good morning buddy. Routines help me cope.
The world is going to be what it wishes and I have to remind myself sometimes that I don't have to witness all of it.
That's where the routine helps. Little reminders that peace starts with me and the choices I make, some of which includes how much chaos I witness around me.
I hope your day is beautiful. You're a groovy soul.
Good morning lovely critter!
How are you feeling today? Joining me on a run, or resting those lungs?
Today and tomorrow will be tough transition days on the new regimen, but once it kicks in fully I know I'll have better energy. I was waiting for the novel to be finished so I could focus on it more completely, and now I can.
I'm so glad you have little reminders and routines to bring you calm in the fray as well. 🤗
Time to lure the soft animal of the body toward good things... then reward the heck out of it once you get back. :)
