Spent the week fighting my urge to write through the night and get All the Things Done All at Once.

Challenging. I'm not *quite* finished with novel revisions, because I'm putting myself to bed instead working through the night, but I *am* up every day in time to run, and improve overall energy before my first task and writing windows of the day.

The first few weeks of any new routine require patience when full results take time--and a commitment to celebrating the little wins along the way. 👌

This discipline is so rewarding as you noted😊 I too am a “get it all done at once” person- I look at it as my form of zoomies, and it is hard to wrestle under control 💪🏼 So extra kudos to you! Enjoy that run🌟

@Esther

Oh, I love thinking about this like a case of the zoomies! I know my body is trying to tell me something about its need to feel safe and secure - so the aim is always to find other ways for it to get that assurance without burning the candle at both ends. But, as you wisely note, easier said than done sometimes!

I wish you great kindness with yourself, as you manage the zoomies on your side, too! 🤗
