Early bird gets to see the horsies. Lousy camera phone, but lovely moment with birdsong and a gentle predawn sky in the park. (And the fire is out, no worries!)
@MLClark When circumstances permit, I go out before sunrise, but I learned the hard way to carry pepper spray with me. Some loon ambushed me one morning in the park, claiming I'd stolen his bicycle. I now have pepper spray on my belt in case anyone wants to "dance."

@MLClark My "move" was to fall back on my old police "command presence" voice. I threw in lots of curse words, got right up in his face, told him to f*** off or I'd call the cops, and rode off.
He was middle-aged and a bit confused. I don't think that would work with someone in their prime.
Either way, until I can carry a pocket phaser set on stun, I have the pepper spray.
