A gift I worked hard to give myself is the ability to be curious when I'm wrong.
As a kid and young adult, perfectionism was key. Mistakes could be used against you for years.
But to be at a place where, when I encounter intel that changes my perspective, I'm more interested in what brought me to my misapprehension, and excited to see what follows from a changed data set?
What a great feeling.
Empirical thinking follows the evidence, always.
It just has to bridge our silly egos first.
