Posted in a thread shared by academics on another social media platform. Every now and then I see hilarious lists of reasons for death and desease in other centuries pop up online, and they always make me wonder (worry?) what we say today that will have future generations howling, too. π

Have you seen those videos where Gen Z is shown pictures or given objects from the 60s to 90s and asked to guess their function? Hilariously mortifying. The future is going to look at us with pity and bafflement in equal measure, I'm sure!
