πŸ™‚ When my interactions in my barrio are good, they are really really good. Tonight I came across a sad moo cow who had straggled too long, and was lowing in the dark on her solo route home. An old, scruffy, two-toothed paisa stopped with me to watch her get over her fear and step into the dark stretch alone, & we talked about animal feelings and his childhood on a finca for a bit, until she pressed on. (Brave girl!)

@LiseL

πŸ˜… You can thank Joyce for that.

"Once upon a time and a very good time it was there was a moocow coming down along the road and this moocow that was coming down along the road met a nicens little boy named baby tuckoo."

Can't un-moo-cow a cow that's been moo'd!

@MLClark πŸ˜‚ Darn, I've been searching for a recording of him reading the opening line of Portrait of the Artist because it would have been a very nice bedtime treat to hear the word "moocow" pronounced in his own accent! But alas, he only recorded bits of Ulysses and Finnegan's Wake. 🀷

@LiseL

I feel as though readers would make the funniest necromancers.

"Oh, so I heard you acquired the power to raise the dead!"

"YES! So which dead writer would you like to hear recite their work? I've been working through the Romantics, but I'm flexible." 😊

Hope you have something soothing and wonderful before bed.

@MLClark πŸ˜‚ So true! *Thinks about which writers she'd choose* πŸ€”

'Night M.L. Dream well.
