😂 I also first thought of clothes when I heard that phrase. All the terms that cropped up in the 1920s to describe exceptionalism focused on things that were superfluous, like "the snake's hip" - and what need has a chill dude(tte) like a capybara of heated argument? :) Personally, I think it's the cutest of all of them, but somehow it didn't make it out of the decade.
