And... now I can get back to yesterday's newsletter.
There were HUGE problems with uploading the paperback version of my collection, & it essentially took me 12 hours of tweaking to fix the issue after trying to go forward with either a doc version (non-ideal, requiring a lot of fiddling with page counts) or PDF version, despite bizarre errors being flagged until I found the problem's secret source.
Now though? Out of my hands! Awaiting link!

@JakeA New issue, even though I was drawing from an old template!
I'd get errors like "Correct format is 6.0 × 9.0 but this is 6.00 x 9.00", and I couldn't figure out what was causing KDP's previewer to show my book with text outside the bleed zone.
Ultimate fix? Apparently even when margin settings were fine, the program pulled data from my Table of Contents in a way that mucked up margin settings on-site. But how on Earth was I supposed to intuit ToC issue from overall book margin errors? 🙃

(Trial and error, was my answer. Thanks so much for the kindness of your support, Jake! 🤗 You know I look forward to seeing her work and yours in print, too!)
