My great inspirations are authors who struggled their whole lives: like Whitman (who didn't gain economic security 'til his 60s), & Melville (who died in obscurity).
But *this* is the everyday grace of living with strife:

Right?! I am so glad they focused on her full self, and didn't just make this a story about an ended relationship.
Also, what a phenomenal reading practice for yourself! That is beautiful self-care work, Lise. I hope you always lean into kindness for yourself. What a gift it is simply to be witnesses for so long to this wild & ever-changing cosmos of ours.

@MLClark I often read the "A New Start After 60" feature for inspiration as I find myself in my fifties and often frustrated at everything I haven't managed to be and do. This is one of the best ones. She's amazing.
