Day 8: I keep waking before my alarm, which is something I haven't done all year.
Jan & Feb really knocked me off course. I don't regret helping a family in need, but I was already living with a loss in income, while trying to build an indie brand in a publishing industry in growing disarray, with my support network scattered to other countries...
It was just really hard to find any future to believe in, y'know?
Some seasons in life are just tough.
But hey: we all have them.
We keep swimming.
@MLClark --Keep pounding away and fighting the good fight. Sure, you may have to recalibrate, but so what? We all have to reassess at some point of the journey. There are always avenues available for guidance, even if you don't think there are. Consider your network and those who might offer compelling advice. Even if it's a POV you don't want to hear. Be open to all of it. When your mind is open you will be surprised at the thoughts and ideas that come at you. Good luck and keep writing.
