Today's recommended aid organization: World Central Kitchen, which not only provides hot meals in crisis zones (including #Ukraine) but also empowers local food providers, combats climate crisis issues, & is often more hands-on than the usual NGOs.

We give monthly to WCK. They are one of the best NGOs around. They are virtually everywhere feeding people. Jose Andres is a wonderful human.

@MLClark Yes! the Ukraine invasion brought them to my attention. They do so much more globally as well. Absolutely heroic, and they even help and feed lost pets and shelters. They press all my butttons :)
