@Armchaircouch Jesus tapdancing Christ you'd be better off jumping into a blender.
@Idissent Please keep us posted and let us know if we can do anything to help!
As for #hurricanehelene, I think the take-home for all of us is that #nooneiscomingtosaveus and #wekeepussafe. Network, know your neighbors, and starting building community resiliency now so that you'll have the help you need if the worst occurs.
@Idissent I hope you're well and safe as this mess of a storm comes ashore!
#Milton is the big one, folks. God help us all.

@Idissent Then why are you voting the way you do? The only argument anyone has for Harris is that "she's not Trump' and that is rapidly becoming a distinction without a difference in part because of the issues I've outlined here.
@Idissent That we don't shred the environment, accelerate climate change, and shred human rights in the name of xenophobia.
@Idissent It's not her changing her mind that worries me. It's her support for expanding the fossil fuel industry, border walls, and further onerous restrictions on migrants and refugees.
#Congress taking time off during a time of multiple national crises is the greatest possible example of what's wrong around here. #USA #Election2024 #Vote
@Evereigh I hope it's nothing serious and she gets back to normal soon.
@Idissent If you have time I welcome your insights on Harris's response to an important question during one of her rare interviews.
@Idissent The important thing is more the video clip itself; the commentary account is just the easiest way to share it. I don't think this has ended her campaign but I do think it's an insight into her policies and process--which is exactly what Harris intended.
". . . that response hasn’t been bringing in aid, it has been bringing in police. . . . All this manpower wasn’t sent in to distribute supplies, or to clear the roads, or even direct traffic. It was sent in to make sure hungry people, thirsty people, desperate people couldn’t get the supplies they needed. Those police and the private security which we saw guarding grocery stores, could have helped with distributing supplies instead. But that’s not what they’re doing.”
@damselfly59 @Idissent An increasing rarity in a tech culture that lost its backbone years ago.
@Idissent Please stay safe, all politics aside. This one is gonna be even bigger than it looks in terms of impact.
Just trying to make sense of it all.
