I am very new to #Linux and I'm using Mint Cinnamon. I attempted to add Proton Vpn and followed all the instructions on their website.
I obviously did something incorrect somewhere because it said it was not found and it changed my ui to something completely different.
I am not very tech savvy so any help or suggestions are extremely appreciated!

Thank you for your offer! I do not have screenshots. I reinstalled mint cinnamon and was able to find out proton is not compatible with that flavor.
I can either change cinnamon or use a compatible vpn. As I am a novice and a tad frustrated at the moment, I thought it best to take a break for now.
