Hey, CoSo, I'm just curious: are there any fellow #linux users out there? Where are my #opensource people at?
@NiveusLepus Sweet! Running #linuxmint as my daily driver but I have a few other things on dual boot! No windows, I gave that up long ago.
@MHS_Jenkins I dropped Windows when they dropped 7, but I've been an off and on linux user starting with Mandrake back in 2000.
Those are good tags to make a column with, also add in #infosec as smart techie folks are often chatting there.
If you search for a hashtag, then click the result, it will open a new column. You can then "pin" that column to make it permanent, and add additional tags.
You can see how much I have overloaded one of my columns in the attached pic ;)
#infosec should be of interest to every techie. If not, steer clear! :)
@ceorl I've been preaching the gospel of privacy and infosec to all who will listen for years. Also I use my real name and face on alternative social media. I'm a complex creature.
@ceorl I may or may not have just similarly overloaded a column.
Excellent! Running Start!
Click on things. If you can break anything, we want to know about it :)
You may be amused by what happens when you click on the pi symbol at the bottom right :)
@ceorl Oh sweet, nothing like a green text blast from the past!
@MHS_Jenkins waves
@b4cks4w Awesome! Thanks for reaching out! :)
@MHS_Jenkins *waves*
@MHS_Jenkins I'm in the sticks at the moment, network is spotty.
@b4cks4w No worries! Glad to hear from you! how are things?
@MHS_Jenkins Things are fine, just rolled into town and 4G. Running Pop!_OS on an actual System76 machine. Have run a lotta stuff going back to Yggdrasil and some UNIXes. But not a sysadmin, just a user. I can hang with Microsoft or Apple but don't need to.
Welcome!
@b4cks4w Sounds like a great setup. My desktop machine is home-brewed, and LinuxMint is my daily driver with #kalilinux and #parrotlinux as dual-boot options.
@MHS_Jenkins Running Endeavour here. Been using linux since 1999, full time for about 15 years or so.
@MHS_Jenkins Nobara Linux 38 here!
