@M00dyBlue my maternal grandfather was a swing musician/band leader (his final group was called Sax Francisco) and he passed away during the swing revival in the 1990s and he felt sooo vindicated. It proved rock and roll was a passing fad.
@DaisyMcDuck That's so cool! My grandparents loved swing music. They had a closet full of 78s from the big band, swing era. They taught me how to dance. Then when I got huge in to swing in the late 80s early 90s they were so thrilled. My grandma had saved a closet full of her clothes, shoes, purses and hats which she gave me. I was decked out in her vintage stuff every night ❤️
