Treasury Takes Action as Part of a U.S. Government Response to Russia’s Foreign Malign Influence Operations
WASHINGTON — Today, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) designated 10 individuals and two entities as part of a coordinated U.S. government response to Moscow’s malign influence efforts targeting the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
I watched one of those stupid videos Tim Pool got paid 100K from Russia for making, and boy is that guy a moron.
In the bit I watched, he claimed that Ukraine "blew up the Nord Stream pipeline, triggering this war".
There's a lot to unpack.
First, the second invasion of Ukraine in 2022 took place on February 24, 2022, and the Nord Stream pipeline was breached on September 26, 2022. Usually, time doesn't flow backward, and cause usually precedes effect.
