I wonder how many of those young voters (under the age of 26) that voted Republican are gonna be shocked and have a bitch-fit about the “cost of living” when they’re dropped from their parents health insurance plans and have to fend for themselves for the first time in their young lives. Preexisting conditions and all included, as they get denied left and right because of them.

@Dogofalltrees yup. I warned my 21yo (who voted Trump). I said, “it’s benefit selection time at your work, take note of what the cost for insurance is bc if they repeal the ACA, you will be paying that, and multiply it by 5” (for the years of 21-26, money he could be saving for a house)

I don’t think it sunk in bc he gave me the “peace and prosperity” propaganda line. 🙄

@Dogofalltrees me either. I just let it go in the moment. I’ll be sure to say “I told you so” when it doesn’t happen though!

@AverageCitizen @Dogofalltrees I think your son missed the "White Male billionaire" requirement to qualify to any of that 'peace and prosperity". Going to guess by the insurance portion he doesn't qualify, but Musk thanks him for his vote anyway.
