I'm still raising funds, although with urgency right now because I will be given an eviction notice tomorrow and I know my type of landlord has no compassion or leniency for late payments, no matter the circumstances or how many decades I've lived here. I'm closer, yet far from funding this month. If you would like to help, it would be life saving, literally. I need to stay housed till I can reunite with my family, it's a fragile situation.

@Blue_Skyesr_here Check for local legal services as well. Eviction is a process the notice is step one - usually its fairly early to get a court to stay or delay the actual forced removal. This delay may help by giving you the time to raise the rest of the funds needed.

This is really important, Marce, because you're just looking to hold on to get that passport, vaccines, and plane booked, yes? I'm guessing the passport is actually the biggest bottleneck, especially if you say you need to travel for it (so, the Colombian embassy?). Colombia is having a really tough time with the company it uses for passports, so you need to get that application in ASAP, if so.

I ask because I have a sister who's autistic and ADHD, and we often walk through task lists when things get overwhelming for her.

I know the panic of an eviction notice can easily crowd out strategic thinking, but if you need to renew your Colombian passport, that *has* to come first, because it might take a while to process.

Then setting up appointments for your meds and your pets, to secure all that you need for your flight.

Then the flight, and packing up?

@MLClark I was diagnosed with ADHD recently, besides my panic disorder, until I solve the issue that is most threatening to my wellbeing and life, I have trouble focusing on anything else. I don't currently have a lease, so they can ask me to leave without much warning. And fighting it in court, if there was that possibility, would throw everything for a loop. Last June the company sent a letter with a new policy: if you're late with payments, you won't be eligible for renewal. @Lucky188

@MLClark They would determine that if you are late, you don't meet the income requirements to rent from this company. @Lucky188
