I heard on a gardening show that fresh picked asparagus is good raw. I never knew it could be eaten this way. I tried it and I may never cook it again.

I used to snap off a stalk or 2 as I passed by the asparagus while mowing the lawn.. Very tasty.

@Lucky188 Mine rarely makes it into the house.. I'm notorious for munching it raw as I pick it. LOL

Tomatoes are often eaten on the way to the house too.
