An old tradition my grand parents practiced on New years has become one of my own. Steeped in superstition I still do it in part to remember them but also because you never know. 😉
It was thought that at the stroke of midnight if there is money coming into your home , it will come in all year long. So just before midnight I step outside and throw some money thru the door at the stroke of midnight.
@peeppeepcircus I started it when I was young, each year I did it my income went up significantly. Yet that could also be that I um sorta started a career path about that time in my life too. It definitely works to remember those who I learned it from - memories can be worth more than money anyway.
@Lucky188 my parents and grandparents had a similar tradition. The first thing New Years morning we all had to wash our hands with a silver dollar.
