@Agatha @LowEndMuse Some areas its legally mandated that you can't pump your own gas, it's all full service... Oregon I think is one of them.
Oregon started letting people last year. NJ is the only hold out now.
Haven't had em here since the early 80's. My uncle owns a station but hasn't sold gas for going on 15 years.
It's just car repair now.
@LowEndMuse The only place that I self-checkout is Home Depot W when I'm there picking up odds and ends for my field crews. I fucking hated it at first, but to be honest, it's faster checking out than the store cashiers seem to be, so I'm having a hard time maintaining my resistance.🤷♂️
