when I was learning new songs I'd go to these you tube videos that had the guitar chord and learn from there.. My brother told me about the bass tab and number charts that are out there for almost anything

hahaha.. the way my band learned some songs was.. someone would come to practice saying I just heard this song on the radio. It goes something like this and we'd all figure out something to play.. If it seemed like a good fit we'd get the record or tape it and then learn it a little more closely to the real thing and get the lyrics. But we we would keep some the the first tries too. We were never wanting be a jukebox of the hits
