@LowEndMuse

I hope you're feeling okay! Not sure what it was for (I've been offline for the majority of the summer), but I can relate. I had a lumpectomy in my neck many moons ago.

@LowEndMuse

Ooooh, my husband got a cage installed a few years ago, but they went in through the back. Do you still have to sleep with the neck brace? I honestly don't know how he did it....thanks, narcolepsy, I guess? 😂

Wishing you the speediest of recoveries!

@ExecutiveFunction404 I got released from the collar at the end of last month, unless I'm in a car. Then I have to wear it. 👍🏻 Sleep was rough last month.

@LowEndMuse

So happy you're out of the worst of it!

My husband just told me that they went through the front for him also (he's had many surgeries lol)

He also reminded me that we had the x-rays saved. This is what his looked like beforehand...the x-ray tech didn't want him to leave. They wanted to call an ambulance for an emergency surgery. They only let him leave when he said he'll go straight to the VA (then the VA said, it's fine, we'll call you in 2 weeks to schedule 😂 he went elsewhere)

@LowEndMuse

Right? The VA is usually good here. That was a bad fucking call.

Did you have pain? His only symptom was losing feeling/strength in his hands/arms.

Follow

@ExecutiveFunction404 Yeah, I had shooting pain and headaches. Lost a lot of right arm/shoulder function.
My MRI ...

@LowEndMuse

Ouch!

Glad you got it taken care of! I hope you've had an uneventful recovery so far. I know how painful it looks, but I can't empathize with the (I probably wouldn't have been able to sleep for that entire month lol)
