Picked the bass back up today. Learned an easy Bon Jovi song to ease back in. 😁 Felt good.

SBL did a long video about Family Man, bassist/bandleader for the Wailers and highlighted some of his lines and techniques.

Part of the discussion was about the simplicity of reggae bass and it's dependence on intentional spaces.

The comment was also made as to it being an good style for bassists to learn from, because of its ease of play.

Made sense to to me. It's almost just relaxing to play along with, if that might be something that might appeal to you as you step back in.
