Maybe it's just me, but when I see or hear the term "Alpha Male"
my mind immediately thinks...wannabe authoritarian.

@LowEndMuse Where I work “Alpha Males” are a nuisance and get drummed out quickly. Working in groups of several hundred to complete projects that no one person has the expertise to complete even in centuries makes followership skills infinitely more valuable than leadership.
I think insecure loser whose life revolves around what other people, usually strangers, think of them. It's quite pathetic, if you think about it. It follows the line of, if you have to say it out loud or type it unironically, you're obviously not conveying it organically 💁♀️
