That's why they make the big bucks. They knew the job was dangerous when they took it.
I've had that. I got lucky though, because I didn't know beforehand that it was going to happen, so I didn't have time to think or worry about it. Honestly, it wasn't so bad. Try to remember the doctor has seen it all before and there's nothing you can throw at them (heh) they can't handle.
@LowEndMuse It tickles like hell. I found it no worse than a covid test. I'd be more concerned about sneezing. Going in via your nose, it mostly avoids the gag reflex zone. If they let you watch the monitor, it's kind of cool and a really good distraction from the less pleasant aspects.
Also they usually use some numbing stuff. My doc made jokes. It was fine.
I actually dread tomorrow. I have to have a camera run through my nose to look at my vocal cords for pre surgery documentation...
Think is,I have horrible gag reflex and don't wanna spew on the doctor
