I'm all for subscription services to "rent" or "try" games. Xbox game pass and Playstation plus do just that with games that rotate in and out. This works for some but not for all.
I'm pretty sure #Ubisoft 's directors first language is not english so I'm sure there could be some mistranslation, but I hope they don't truely believe that subs and renting is the future.

@MgBarbatos And Playstation Plus lets you keep the games if you cancel the subscription.
For Ubisoft though, I think it's time to start pirating.
@Lizardguy64 ps plus lets you keep them if you're subscribed yes for their monthly giveaway games.
They do have a section of ps plus that lets you play certain games that you don't get to keep. These games will eventually rotate out and I think that's fine.
Easier thing to do is just don't engage with #Ubisoft . Pirating hurts the devs and remember, they're not the ones calling the shots. 🤷♂️
