High winds blew over my stack of foam board insulation. While I was restacking found this beauty.

They usually don't bother me. This nest is dead. The only ones that bother me are the reddish ones. I think they are a ground wasp and they don't like you any where near they csll home.
@LindaWisner I’m on the same page. Ground wasps are nasty and very aggressive.
@LindaWisner wasp nests are incredibly detailed. If you have a magnifying glass check out the different color bands.
The materials they choose to make the nest come from different materials.
