I was paranoid & watched the tree trimmers yesterday.

I wanted some branches off my roof. That's IT.

They took too much off - nothing intolerable, but it made me paranoid. They started to go after another tree in the front. I ran over to the window & yelled out NO barely in time. Hus went out & told them no more cutting.

They were going to cut the only (perfectly healthy) limb that provides my sewing room with shade. Even if it falls it won't hit the road, cars, or any home, so why cut it??

I contracted for work on ONE tree. They weren't getting more money than that, so why they wanted to hack at another is beyond me.

The irony is they noticed the big limb because they were taking a break and took advantage of the shade it provided. ๐Ÿ™„

@LindaGoodliffe

We got to them in time, thankfully. They had a ladder against it and were heading up with a chainsaw when I yelled. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I mean, it's literally no danger to anyone! All those bare patches are where we don't get shade - the weeks of triple digit heat has killed the grass. Shady spots have grass.
