I know I’m not on twitter anymore, but I want to say for the record that I am so glad I was wrong about Merrick Garland. This is one of those times when I will happily eat crow!!

This is a day when my belief in my country that I sacrificed so much for (I’m a disabled veteran) is restored.
We’re still so far from where we need to be, but today is such a relief. We are still striving for that more perfect union.
This is how I feel today. Until now, this had taken so long that I lost hope. It’s so refreshing to have hope again.
