"Ode to Remembrance"

I was here when you breached my shores,
You noble men, the embodiment
of Courage.
I was reverent by the unwavering bravery,
You valiant men, the paragon
of Freedom.
I was witness to your unyielding
resilience.
You honorable men, the symbol
of Victory.
I was humbled by the sight
of Resolve,
You gallant men, the image
of Liberation.

I was here when you breached
my shores,
and I will remain as a memorial
of sacrifice.
