Trump holding a rally at MSG has nothing to do with "making a play" for NY. It has everything to do with his stultifying sense of inferiority that the guy from Queens was always jeered at by the great and the good of Manhattan. For him, an MSG rally is "making it". It's all for ego, and to quiet the knowledge he has inside that he's worthless.
@LiberalLibrarian New Jersey is in play and you get a lot of people who live across the river at MSG.
