Quite simply, everything is political. You may think you're escaping politics, but you're only giving power to those who want to dominate you.

I WISH…that this wasn’t true, but my wishes have nothing to do with reality: you are spot on.
The “ruling class” (in this country still basically anyone who tries hard enough and refuses to give up) will only be able to run over you if you give in to the attrition and despair intentionally pumped into politics, which is only done so they can have the deciding vote.
It’s tiring but the alternative is not permissible.
“Vote/donate/activate every time, rest when needed.” 🤷♂️
