So, I may not have shared this.
I was doing dishes on Sunday. I was washing a glass. It broke, and I sliced the top of my right pinkie open.
Ouch.
Thankfully, that happened early enough so that we could go to urgent care. I was in and out in half an hour.
But man, it's smarting today.

@IrelandTorin The WORST part was the lidocaine injection. Fuck me.
@LiberalLibrarian Fun fact, if you have an open wound, if you mix small amount of pure lidocaine into some povidone-iodine solution (other antiseptics could also work, but I like using povidone-iodine because it's got a really broad kill spectrum and is somewhat persistent) and then flush the wound with it, it should significantly reduce the pain. Not as effective as a proper nerve block, but easier.
