@LiberalLibrarian I have to admit it would only change my theology if we can prove that complex, sentient life existed on Mars and even then I'm not sure how much, really, since the Bible doesn't explicitly state that Earth is unique in hosting life, only that God made everything. It might make a lot of people think more carefully about our place in the universe and that is no bad thing.

@LiberalLibrarian wow. chances of life increase significantly. We have extremophiles on earth in those kinds of environments, and even some very simple animals.
