Mega donors are still trying to pull the strings. Here’s one of the mega donors who paid to remove Biden. He admits the problem wasn’t Biden’s age, he was just too leftwing for Mark. He’s threatening not to donate (or even vote) if the VP doesn’t abandon Biden’s policies.
It's a delicate question:
Run on policies that will appeal broadly to your base and the voting public at large?
Or run on policies that appeal to a handful of donors so you can get money to tell the public about policies that the public rejects?
