I used to be obsessed with polling.
Now? The fact that so many of them are garbage which do not reflect reality from 2017 to now makes me think of this as far as the polling "industry" goes:
@LiberalLibrarian I stopped trusting polls in 1992. Was working on a campaign as volunteer coordinator. Manager eyed me and said "I think people are lying on the polls." I had a similar feel...and haven't seen anything since then to change my mind.
@joycereynoldsward There's the famous "Tom Bradley Effect", where respondents gave the Black LA Mayor a lead in the polls for governor, and then the white Republican won.
@LiberalLibrarian I don't think any national poll has been correct in the last 4 Presidential elections.
That being said, get out and vote!
