@LiberalLibrarian I think the disconnect a lot of these people have, and this is in no way defending him or others who have said similar, is that they feel they are being forced, when it is a change to the social contract they didn't agree to. They're angry because they're no longer in the majority in thinking a certain way.

And it is funny he brings art into it, art has always embraced those who he seems to be angry at. Especially acting.

I hope he is able to learn from this experience.

No, they're not. They have every right to say what they say. And their audience has every right to spurn them. That is free speech.
