Mark Knopfler isn't flashy. He doesn't beat you over the head with his music. He just makes great music, and makes it seem almost effortless.
@LiberalLibrarian I saw him on tour with Eric Clapton, with Nathan East on bass. Some of the most amazing musicianship I've seen in person.
Sadly, he no longer tours, so that's one off my bucket list I won't cross.
