@LiberalLibrarian sure, there are other oppressed people, victims, and minorities, but Palestinians annd Hamas are in this year and “Uyghurs” is hard to pronounce. There was a great video circulating w/ a guy asking people to sign a petition that would document they agree with Hamas’ stated goals and beliefs. People were of course not aware of the tacit approval they may be otherwise supporting. Governments and their people are too easily conflated with each other.
